A nice, long chapter filled with excellent detail and interesting back story. Spike and Xander's sniping was well written, and I liked that Spike suffered for not taking Xander's advice. Buffy's reaction to a sweaty, shirtless Spike was priceless. The dialogue was well written and the chapter flowed from scene to scene smoothly. I'm happy you worked through your writer's block, this story is delightful.

The action flowed naturally in this chapter. I'm looking forward to learning Buffy's back story and why the farm is in such disrepair. Spike's settling in nicely, and I can't wait until he's introduced to farm chores.

Okay, this story is so endearing and sweet. I can't wait to find out what happens between Buffy and Spike and what happens when he gets back, years later.

The prolog was fun! Seems too that the prolog is in the future and and rest (ch. 1) is the past. Than I dare to say the "she" in the prolog is Buffy. *gg* Seems to be an interesting story too. On to the next chapter and then I'll be waiting for the updates :)

Good set up, and the awkward first meeting was electric and funny. I'm liking your Xander and Willow, too. The idea of Spike helping around a farm is original and could be a lot of fun. This is very entertaining so far.
