Another wonderful update of what is quickly becomming my favorite fic! Just one little nitpick-- It isn't "in lieu of," when Buffy is checking out Hannah, because that means "instead." Perhaps you were searching for "in light of." I like the way William is still claiming Buffy as "his" girl, for all the world to see. Poor confused Buffy-- I'm hoping she trusts him to catch her soon.

Really liked this chapter. It had both playful flirting and serious connecting. I hope the 'dating' continues to work well for them. And the carrot scene... that was too funny!! Great work, as always!

Thank you, I was hoping you would get Fred and Wesley interested in each other. Not that I was worried or anything. I just love that couple to pieces. Well, I'm glad they were bonding and I hope the break up won't last that much longer. I have to say that I expected the affair though. I had a feeling that it was Joyce and not really Hank. The carrot thing had me laughing. I would have been embarrassed if my father saw that, but sometimes carrots are just that good...lol! Good chapter, can't wait for more=)

Seems as if Buffy starts to get sure of herself. She was able to say that she trusted William. :) Some connecting indeed.

I thought I was wrong.. but ch. 37 is really 38. *reading on* Buffy reached out and took the rum and coke Faith had been nursing and thought she might be in need of new friends. Hehe.. Faith talks too much. Now Buffy is worried. I hope it won't lead her to do something silly. Nope, not yet. And William was jealous of Lindsey too. Dinner, huh? *reading on*

lovely how much she is growing and finding herself and how relationships work.......much sooner then her father did it would seem. It's hard finding out your parents are not the Gods you thought them to be, and little human peons just like yourself........great chapter on proving Faith is a interfering jealous little girl.......

If someone were to ask me to name this chapter or to sum up what it was all about in one word, that word would be HEALING or RECONNECTING..I can't decide, but either one would work just fine.
I feel like finally these two characters are coming together on the same level. Great job with that!

BTW..Hank catching Buffy doing nasty things to that carrot cracked me up. :D

Good! I'm glad that Will and Buffy are now communicating better.
The thing about Joyce kind of slays me. It's usual to blame the man and then this??? Nice twist.
I'm glad that Fred is interested in Wesley as I don't llike the triangle feelings thing. Can't' say why, i just don't.

i can't type much--stupid shoulder, bu i liked this a lot...knew i loved the idea of them having dinner---yay for the talking and having other relationships parallel theirs :)
