Oh poor them.....for both are at a point of time that their age can make them love but want different things. The longer it goes the more Spike will see things he wants and needs slipping away. He'd want to have a family at about this age so he can enjoy them growing up and not look or act more like their grandfather. Buffy being so young and not seeing that many women are married, pregnant, and yet in medical school, law school, and still making it all work. Both of them are insecure about this relationship for different reasons, it's new and they jumped the gun on having sex before getting the basics of getting to know a bit more about each other. Great job and the complexity of an older man/younger woman's trouble. I'm sorry that Buffy's inexperience in relationships have kept her from being honest about taking the morning after pill. Not by doing it, but telling William, for honesty at that time would've been the best policy instead of living with the secret and it coming out in some fashion that William will take it badly. But then where would be the angsty stuff. And if they don't talk soon and William continues on like this, he will start to think he is second best, not to a husband this time but to a career.....love is as love is, either you find it and work to keep it, or let what you think is more important then love make it that love them slips between your fingers and all you have left is a cold career to keep you warm at night, or someone else that you may love but not as much as the one you let slip away and then giving you just a smiggin of a love life you could've had. I wonder if either of them will be willing to fight to keep what they have.....for it will take both for it to be able to be saved and cherished.
