wow so spikes the master. i've read storys where he's a master vampire or even the head vampire of a place but i never saw someone replace the master with spike. totaly original idea. can't wait to see what youre doing with this story. i am a little confused as to spikes sire and his relationship with dru and darla.

good beginning, like how Spike is the master. While he may be one of the youngest master vampires in history on the show, it's very clear why. He defeated two slayers in FAIR combat something his pathetic excuse of a sire,grand-sire could never do. And who knows how many times he had to defend his nutty sire over the last century from other demons,vampires. I always wondered if he could have been stronger was he not lovesbitch all the time.

i don't think spike being the master makes a lot of sense. he's not old enough for one, and he couldn't have been freed already. wouldn't he need her blood for that? i guess you're changing quite a bit here. not sure i really like that idea though, but i'll see what else you do.

Author's Response: There are a lot of stories out there that aren't exactly canon - that's where creative license comes in. My story, Daughter of Prophecy, had Buffy as Angel and Darla's daughter - it was much more far fetched than this one, but it still seemed to work. If everyone followed the exact formula of the show, the fandom would be a boring place. And no, he doesn't need her blood to get out. For 'The Harvest' he just needed to use Luke as the vessel - that's how he was freed for 'The Wish' and Buffy was in Ohio at that time.
