Great start!, it's very sad, but like you said, angst. I feel that this will be a good fic because of all the history and backstory and, well, angst, between Buffy and Spike. I can't wait to see where you take this!

wow! that was really intense and i love it. i can't wait to read this story!! it has such a brilliant start. i'm anticipating reading what happens between spike and buffy and how spike deals with losing faith. hopefully buffy will kick some ass though. I read the summary and the story sounded interesting, and so far what I've read has me intrigued, so I'm definitely gonna stick around to see where you take this fic. Great job with the first chapter. :)

Wow, such a strong beginning..Buffy with the weight of the world on her shoulders. Spike knowing Buffy's not the same as others, the hate he feels. The emotions and writing were real and strong. Can't wait for more.

Ooh...very interesting premise, and nice first chapter. I look forward to seeing it develop =D One question, though--if Buffy's been the Chosen One since her freshman year, wouldn't she have known about it for four, not six, years?
