Oh my...before this weekend? Okay so time is quickly ticking away and none of our main players are even aware that they're on the clock! Oh and I loved how Spike was surprised at how NOT disturbed he was to think that he might be falling for his girlfriend's sister. Heh - I can just imagine the internal dialogue: "I guess I should be upset about this then?" "Yep I guess so". "Okay - upset then"...waits for a couple of minutes then says "I expect I'll be feeling that any time now..." Waits a couple more minutes then looks sheepishly at his watch. "Yep - any minute now". LOL! Please update soon before the suspense kills me :-D

Loved the way Spike was trying to dodge Dru..Boy she is going to be beyond pissed about him having feelings for Buffy..not to mention Daddy dearest won't be to pleased..

Okay so first let me say I'm a COMPLETE Spuffy shipper ( a regular card-carrying member of the league) but I have to admit - the 'flirtage' Spike's indulging in with his girlfriend's younger sister is a little...well, we'll say risque. If I was going to be mature and grown-up etc etc I'd say inappropriate (even though it is darn hot!) regardless of her age because even if he's feeling ambivalent about his relationship with Dru she IS his current girlfriend. Me personally, I hope I'd NEVER find myself wanting to be involved with someone one of my sister's had been with because somehow it just seems icky! LOL This point does make me wonder however - Dru earlier said that Joyce was NOT her mother. Now was she just ranting (as she does) or is there something to that statement? That would at least remove some of the 'ick' factor from Buffy becoming involved with Spike. Oh and what you've done with Ethan is great. I know he was Joss & co's utilitarian bad guy on the show but I always suspected there could be a very warm and charming side to him. I think I got that idea after the way he laughed at Giles when he tricked him into thinking he'd poisoned his drink is season 4's 'New Man'...that was such a classic moment. Or maybe I'm just a sucker for that sexy British accent ~gives a saucy wink~ LOL More soon please!

Author's Response: Well, things become more clear as it goes on. Right now Spike is on a journey as well......it's this time with Buffy that is opening his eyes to a few things. One that Dru is not the woman he thought her to be....it will come out they've not been dating that long. Dru's is Joyce's step mother and more will come out about that.....Buffy's half sister. I was trying to have the flirting not flirting in their eyes as much as forming a bond in away......but yes, it's part of the bit of darkness to the fic...something Buffy will have to contend with later as well as Spike when it really hits him what is going on. He's falling for is current girlfriend's sister. I hope that helps clear it up.....I always loved the Ethan/Giles combination...and thought at one point they'd been lovers....LOL.....I mean Ethan acted like the lover left behind once Ripper straigthened up and became just Giles.......

Author's Response: Not to worry, I'm sorry I wasn't clear enough.....Dawn's killer who is Buffy's stalker is following them. The person getting fired is the cashier at tthe diner Seems Anya called and complained to the owner....I hope that clears things up a bit.
