I just love this story and your voice for Spike - it's such, IMO, great study of Spike and his love for Buffy and his return. Heartbreaking lines about Spike and how alone and rejected he feels when he came back.

I have read this before and I think this is the time I have enjoyed it the most. The comic books have revived my love of Spuffy fanfiction and the great writers who have done such wonderful stories and explored these two in all the facets of their relationship.

Really loved this story..

He had died a hero, and had been resurrected a nuisance. He had died looking into eyes filled with pride and something that he dared think might have been love, and had been resurrected only to see eyes filled with contempt and hatred. The eyes of his grandsire.

Now that was a sad start to the story.

Very sweet. Is it bad to admit that I especially love the way you portrayed the Spike/Angel dynamic? Of course the Spuffy was great too - but that was pretty much expected.

Author's Response: Not bad at all. I'm actually happy to hear that. I always loved the relationship between Spike and Angel... so complex and interesting. Actually, the Spike/Angel dynamic in this story is what my beta liked the most too so you're not the only one. Thanks for your review

Awwwww.... *sobs with joy* This is by far the best Fluffy fic I've come across... too bad you didn't post this pre-Christmas, more suitable for the mood somehow but who am I to complain? You rock!

Author's Response: It's still the holidays, so it's all good, right? Besides, I had really bad things happening in my life right before Christmas so I couldn't post it. It would have been a shame to write it for nothing. Glad you enjoyed it.
