I loved Spike's first thought when he found out he was Buffy's husband in the other reality. I thought it was a really funny line. Great chapter!
Author's Response: Thanks! I actually stole that line. I forget the name of the episode (stupid me), but it's from the one in season 5 where the Council comes to see if Buffy is worthy of finding out that Glory is a god. Anyway, it's one of my favorite Spike lines.

Just found this story but I already want more! I really like this alternate reality (wish they had done something more like this on the show but they can't cater to our every Spuffy whim). I'm wondering if she'll stay in the alternate reality-human Spike, good life, although she'll still remember this life and everyone in the real world would be left without Buffy. Maybe the real world will work out better than she thinks. Can't wait for more:)
