Really enjoy your writing. Well done and it flows so well. A number of minor word errors, but other than that, so well written. Only wish we got more of Spike and Buffy's romance established.

A magnificently crafted complex tale. I just loved it. Even though you say you don't plan a sequel I'd love a little epilogue to see how Buffy breaks up with Riley ,and what happens in your version of Hush with Buffy & Spike fighting together against the Gentlemen. After all Riley doesn't know that Buffy was his invisible assailant...
Author's Response: I'm not going to say that I will never write a sequel, because never is a long time, but I'm focused on some other projects right now (FaFT, a new plot bunny that has been driving me up the wall, and the ever-acursed thesis). In the meantime, I'm glad you liked this one. Thanks for the review!

Ok, um...I don't know her penname, but I remember that she wrote a story starting with Tru dying, and then going backwards to explain what happened. Rest assured, though, that I loved your story because of the plot and everything else and not just bec. of its similarity to another. Hee!
Author's Response: Hmm. I'll have to go out and look around. I was just curious. I'm glad you liked the fic though. Thanks!

What a well plotted, fascinating story. You did an excellent job jumping back and forth in time while keeping the action and characters clear. Takeshi, Kaede and Ichiro were all vividly written original characters, and your attention to detail in both time lines strongly set each scene .
Spike and Buffy were always in character, even after mentally acknowledging their bond. I like that the softening emotions between them barely colored the story, leaving their future together up to the readers' imaginations. I wish I had discovered this while it was being written, but I was delighted to stumble upon the completed story. Thanks for taking such care with this.
Author's Response: I'm glad you liked this one. It was kind of scary for me to post because I didn't know how the timelines and large chunk set in the past would be taken, but it seems to have turned out well enough. I'm glad you liked it. Thanks for the review!

wow. i enjoyed that story so much. i liked how you started from one point and moved it back with the first couple of the story and then moved it forward with spike and buffy at the same time.
Author's Response: Thanks! The time jumping was a tangle to keep straight, but it was fun to write too. I'm glad you liked it.

Lol, very typical Buffy characteristics, and I love the Japanese samurai era touch. Love the Orochi name; That's the name of 1 of my fav evil guys from the game King of Fighters. Lmao.
Loving this story so far, thanks for sharing! :)
Rgds,
Jen
Author's Response: I actually took Orochi from Japanese mythology, but ever since I've been finding references about monsters and bad guys from all kinds of stories and mediums. It's kind of fun. Thanks for reviewing!

Lovely....just lovely! I fell in love with your Japanese characters (and would love a story about Akare and Katsuo and the way they chose to die yet be born as undead to be together.)
I couldn't wait for this to update on BSV and followed here. So glad I did.
Please continue to write these wonderfully told tales.
Kathleen (Pfeifferpack)
Author's Response: I think writing a story about Akane and Katsuo would be very interesting. Now I'm going to have to go ponder. I'm glad you liked the story so much. I'll be writing another fic pretty soon as long as real life doesn't continue throwing me curve balls. Thanks for the review!
