I thought I'd read everything of yours...somehow I missed this one. I loved it. Wish Buffy'd really done something like this in Season 6. I really hated what happened on the show. (Just 'cause a woman does the abusing doesn't make it right!) Thanks for a sweet moment.

Mmm drunken Spike ~ especially a pouting one ~ is cute :)
Spike is good too in reading Buffy. Loved the talking. Lol, and Spike's plan. He got Giles tied up so he couldn't leave Buffy? All for Buffy...
And Buffy is different this time. Maybe getting drunk a bit made it possible for her to hear what her heart told her to do.

Well I have to say that I absolutely adore this story. I don't normally review but as I am so fed up with extreme angst stories or ones where Buffy is... well not nice to Spike I had to say thank you for this.
Would love a sequel to see what happens 'cos Giles really should not have left when he did, (I know ASH did for his own reasons) but that's where fan fic is so great.
I really enjoyed the B/S interaction.

I've said it all along, Buffy should have got drunk more often. Particularly when she was with Spike. Lowering the inhibitions reduces the uptightness and brings out the truth, ergo Spuffy.
