Enjoyed your story very much - It sure would have been nice if Giles had not been effected so negatively by Angel/Angelus and had been more open to accepting Spike. The same for all of them -

Excellent start - one thing that I do have problems with in the early high school timeline is that both Angel and Spike are so much older than Buffy and a heavy sexual attraction and sexual encounters with her at this age seems inappropriate to me. For sure, it's one of those everyone has their own perspective. So kinda hoping your story is not heavy on sex between Spike and Buffy - I will read it all the way through either way.

Ah.. when Drusilla arrived I didn't expect it to end with her going into the sun; that didn't end well for her. I feels sorry for her but I'm still glad that a thread is gone now.
A good gift, the gem of Amara. Will give them a bit of normalcy. Enjoyed the read :D
(PS: He'll talk good care of you take? Doesn't make sense to me otherwise.)

I had to re-read the last couple of chapters. So, Spike was just trying to protect Buffy, good thing she went to see him. I really hope she's right, that it's gonna be okay. Great update, can't wait for the next chapter!

also, wanted to add. That I like how you had Spike lose his soul by Buffy saying that she loved him and not because of them having sex/making love. I think that would mean more to Spike. Not that making love/sex wouldn't mean a lot to him. But I hope you understand what I'm saying.

I had to go back to refresh my memory. Somehow, I missed the last few chapters. But I am glad that you didn't make Spike like Angel when he loss his soul. Spike isn't Angel/Angelus. Spike wouldn't act anything like him if Spike loss his soul. When Spike loves someone. He loves them with or without a soul. I wouldn't even care if Spike never got his soul back in this story. But that is up to you. Just can't wait to read more.

It's hard to believe that he lost his soul, that would not happen if it was Angelus. This just proves how different the two of them are, I'm glad that you made him still love her.

So it was Buffy telling him she loved him that broke the curse? Interesting difference from Angel and the boinking.
Now what's going to happen with a soulless Spike? Surely he still loves her or he wouldn't be telling her to stay away to keep her safe...
