Ok Piper, you got me. I give up. I tried to resist reading this story until it was complete, because I feel like everything I'm reading these days is unfinished. However, I saw that you won an award on the thing and I feel like such a bad person having ignored the writings of my beta. So, I may not review every chappy like I would have if I'd read as you posted, but I'll review in little bits as I sit here and read. So sorry for my blatant disregard of your excellent writing.

Love the way this is progressing. The dialogue between Buffy and Spike is excellent. Giving Hetty an in with the Council was great. I'd been wondering about the empty hotel, glad Spike finally picked up on it. I'm happy something's unfolding on the baby front. It was a great plot device to have this Dawn be the key, too.

Aha - then Hetty is with the watcher person. But first: I think Spike is wrong - Maybe he will not hold her to the claim because he thinks she need the picket fence house, but I think she'll will hold to him.
