I'm still reading this. I really like it. It's understandable that you deal with real life before the not-so-real one :) At least you plan on finishing the story. You can't say that about everyone.

I just love the poncy Evan Blakeford, though mother is still quite the draining individual. I love this story, and though it was a bit of a surprise to see an update, had to go re-read some to figure out which story this one was, I remembered how much I enjoyed it when I began reading it. Whether it takes seven months or seven days, I will look forward to an update. You do this (in part) for us readers, it is our job to be gracious, and patient... and leave fabulous, wordy reviews. Wonderful chapter!

I began hunching at the beginning of this chapter that it was his mother, but I think you were slowly weaving us into that hunch. It sure is a briliiant turn, though. Don't think the gun will help much, but having one can't really hurt. Poor stuttering litte actual Evan. He's got an awakening coming. Great chapter.

I think I may even consider an apocalypse if I had to deal with Victoria Blakeford, but Spike and Buffy can probably end his pain, too. :) Love the way the action is picking up, and Buffy's speech was beautiful and hit all the important points. At least he made her happy... what a wonderful thing to have.

On to the story: Seems as if Evan has a backbone... he's going to his mum, not running away. Yeah, the ring. I hope it will protect Spike! Now to the action - in the next part, huh? Looking forward to it. PS: I'm patient, no worries :)

"She scanned the room, looking for anything that might pose a danger--demons, humans, shifty-looking furniture... "--Shifty looking furniture, love that! And it's a wonderful chapter, too. I Have no problem being patient when the story is this good. May have to go re-read and get myself back up to speed, but all these stories end up stuck somewhere in my head. I love the idea of the theatre troop performing for Buffy, and the description of the castle was absolutely awesome for mood setting. Fabulous.

It was well worth the wait. Great Chapter. This is such a great story. Please try to update soon and often. Glad to hear your little one is doing so good. Enjoy him while he is little.
