Please, don't include me when you say we don't want spike going with another girl. I do want Spike to try dating other girls. I'm a spuffy fan but I still want more for spike. Spike can go with another girl and still end up spuffy.

Spike deserves more than being compare with William all the time. Buffy says that she likes spike. Why?? Why does she like him. Is it because he is the slayer like William was? Is it because he looks like William? Why does she like Spike. Is it because she sees some William and yet spike is different. Why????? Even Giles was going to say that Spike and William were alike.

I am not saying that the writer can't write it the way she wants to. Of course she can. It is her story. I am just saying my feelings on this story.

I have another question for you pet. Is Spike real name Spike or is William too? Cause if his real name is Spike that is new. But if his real name was William that would be just strange. For his real name to be William. Then Spike and William would have more things in common.

Author's Response: About Spike's name, I've said it before and I'll say it again. Spike's real name is not relevant in this story, but it's not William. I'm not gonna make up another name for him because whatever name I would chose, it would just be wrong. He is just Spike in this story, the whole point is that Spike and William are two different people. Don't take this the wrong way but I get the feeling that you're not too fond of this fic. I don't mind at all, I understand, not everybody likes the same thing. Though I know where I'm going with this story, and it will be Spuffy. If you want a story where Spike will fall in love with someone else, this is not the story for you. Although, I appreciate that you're sharing your opinion on the fic.

this is a spuffy story, so we don't really want spike to find another girl. it's not like buffy is a huge bitch here and treats him horribly, and i don't think she keeps comparing him to william. they may be alike, but she also knows how different they are. bottom line is, this is your story and you write it how you want. i'm loving where this is going, and i'm really glad that spike didn't leave.

Phew! Glad they cleared that up! I'm actually glad that Spike is moving out; he really needs a place where he can get away from the slayer stuff being thrown in his face every 5 minutes. Plus, they'll be privacy for some potential shagging...

I somehow missed the last chapter so I had to catch up - so glad to see Spike and Buffy have finally made it with the smoochies. :-) Poor Buffy, I'm sure she couldn't help herself and didn't mean to hurt Spike - but my heart bleeds for him too, poor baby. And then on top of it, having to deal with the "you're-a-slayer-you-don't-have-a-choice" crap right after. :-(

You have really written Buffy and Spike as characters that I really sympathize with and care about. Can't wait for more!

Wow! I like the whole William/Spike not being the same person, yet being so similar! I love that Buffy connected with Spike so soon, and I definitely liked the whole twist with Spike being the Slayer (sorry, I read everything up to now in one-shot, so this review is about all chapters together:P)

Please post again soon, really wanna see Spike let go of his insecurities and Buffy live her second chance!
