I must say I am utterly disgusted at B's behaviour. Poor Spike! He was totally vindicated in saying what he did in chap 9. As for chap 10 control, schmcontrol! At this point I do not wish for a spuffy ending, B. doesn't deserve it. And why is Joyce mollycoddling her, she must see how the way B behaves is wrong!

It's clear Buffy loves spike, but where did she get it that Spike would not be coming back? Not telling him about the baby or making him believe she is seeing someone else is a sure fire way of not making him come back. In a way I'm glad Spike will try to go against his father and return as a result. I hope he is of a forgiving nature because Buffy has a lot of explaining to do.

I've got a bit more sympathy for Buffy, I guess- but I still don't understand the Angel thing no matter her concerns about Spike. Giles' behavior seems pretty consistent to me, what with the grief over Jenny and all- though I don't understand why no one wants to tell Spike what's going on. What's Joyce thinking here?
