Just caught up with the first three chapters. I'm loving this so far! "Dead Things" has always been one of my least favorite episodes because of what Buffy did to Spike. I always found that scene so difficult to watch. Just the fact that you have her seeking him out to apologize makes me feel so much better. I can't wait to see where you take this next! Great job!

Author's Response: I did, too, man. It was honestly one of the most painful scenes in the whole show for me. Thank god for fanfic so we can pretend, even if just for a moment, that it happened differently lol. Thanks for the review!

Daylight (the next morning) changed things again. I hope Buffy will come around and do what Spike asked for a condition of her coming back. Won't be so easy for her.

The start had me a bit confused at first read but it was indeed a dream like I suspected then. And it made Buffy see. Glad she acted on it, tried to make thinks better. Not easy for her to see at last, having this epiphany. Maybe they'll both heal now, Spike's visible wounds and Buffy's invisible ones. ~ Good start :)

Author's Response: Thanks! I was hoping it wasn't too far of a stretch to have her at least apologize to him for that. It's why I included the dream, so it'd be more believable. They've still got a ways to go, though.
