The true confessions part was so sweet, both of them admitting that they're falling. And I like that you've written this in Buffy's POV only. The mystery surrounding Spike is really enjoyable and I'm content for it to last as long as possible. Looking forward to more!

In a way Spike isn't what he seems to be (but Buffy doesn't believe that he is a vampire). So he is completely not what she thinks he is when it comes to be human. The other things? I think this shoe fits :) Spike is for Buffy what she thinks he is (loving her, caring for her).
Mmmmh I wonder where Spike has been when Buffy woke up alone. Spike reacted different when he was back (primal, almost).

Oh, my! *swoons* I think this was by far the hottest chapter yet, and that's saying something. They're getting a little less vanilla all the time, and I like it!

I wonder if the last bite was different from the rest, in that it will leave some evidence not present from the other ones. I have to admit, I'm embarassingly curious about if he's been biting her with his fangs all along, and if so, why she's only seeing hickeys instead of the usual two hole thing. Or is she, and she's in some really serious denial? I'm sure you will reveal all in good time - I'm just being a perve thinking about the possibilities regarding the bitey goodness of Spike.

Yes, Spike POV would be cool, but I can wait until you're ready to let us in on who he really is. I'm more disappointed that Buffy has so little curiosity - or is too insecure - to ask Spike anything about himself. What does he do for a living? Where - other than somewhere in England - is he from? What's he doing in the US? Enquiring minds want to know, why not Buffy?
