oh you've done it again!!! Created a setting, mood and story that just swallows me right up and will not let me forget it! Wonderful! Really loved it all! Hope for more real soon.

Thought the banner was good too! The clear picture on one side - really beautiful - and the the diffuse on on the left - sort of cementing the mood.

great, great beginning! you wrote a believable start for them, i really like it!
just a side note: maybe, when you chance POV (first we have buffy's, then spike's, then both of them), you could anticipate that to the readers, just spacing more, or with ***, or anything...
