This story had some good points, but the writing could use some polish. Not quite enough tension for a good romance, and quite a lot of inconsistencies and places where the plot or details jumped around with no connections, so lot of things didn't make sense to me. As for the "step sibling" thing, that is such a non-issue, I can't imagine anyone truly getting upset by that. I mean, William and Buffy were adults when they met and aren't related by blood... They couldn't be less incestuous, really.

Author's Response: many thanks for a lovely critique. Thank you for the critism as well.. without it I can't improve. This story was written a long time ago, and hopefully I have improved. I post on Maplebookshelf now. As for the stp-sibling thing, yes people did complain! although I couldn't see a problem as they had never lived together etc.

No the caps were not a mistake, and yes as i said, on the whole the story isn't bad at all of what i have read. Though i have chosen not to continue to read beyond the 5th chapter due to not being a fan of the whole step brothers and sisters (whether they are raised together or not, that still is what they are) getting together thing. Its not something i can just gloss over.

Well, i gotta though it is an ok etory on the whole. I'm really not a fan of the whole Spike's parent (normally dad who is normally Giles) hooks up with Buffy's parent (normally Buffy's mum Joyce) simply because if things go well for the parents then ultimately Buffy and Spike will become STEP SIBLINGS, which people either tend to forget,gloss over or it doesn't bother them that they will have steps shaking up together....I'm just saying. So i'm not a fan of these types of stories if it is obviously leading down that path.

Author's Response: Yep, they might become step siblings.. did your caps lock go on by mistake? but they haven't been raised together and it is pretty common actually... hope you find something you do like

Cute story, I loved all the tie in's. Poor Clem though...in chapter 13 he had a wife, and now at the end he's bringing a girlfriend. Does this mean divorce? Poor Clem.

Awwwww! Such a sweet ending all 'round in this chappie (well, 'cept for Cordelia!)!!! Love it! So glad for the update (and on "Knight" as well---that one could prove addicting!). Ya just gotta loves a gal who both writes wonderful fic AND has great taste in music!
