And I'm very glad you updated. Oh my - Buffy is taking loosing the bond with Spike very hard = the trust thing. It's so sad that he thought he had to leave Buffy. *sigh* Good thing that you'll update again.. evil cliffhanger - but you know that :) Could be worse - having to wait longer to read. I had to scroll quite a way back as I hadn't realised I'd missed so many chapters, but this was so sad, so awful that they lost the bond. It feels so painful. You have tremendous skill, but please don't make it sad. I've loved this for so long and waited for that happy feeling as Bufy realises she loves him, I think I'll die if I have to wait for the end of a sequel. *Sigh* Fantastic story.

I am really sorry to hear that you have gone through a very rough time. I hope that you are doing better. Needless to say I am so happy that you have been able to update this story despite the circumstances. About the chapter: Wow so much emotion, so many things to deal with for Buffy and Spike. I can see that Buffy is trying but it is still hard for her to fully let Spike into her heart. I hope that they will end up together but I am sure the next chapters will be tough ones and an emotional ride for both of them. As always keep up the awesome job you do writing this story.
