Author's Response: Funny you asked. It's actually coming up in like 3 chapters but we have met her once already. We just weren't told her name. She's the lady with the white hair and blue sparkling dress who gave Buffy the necklace to talk to her about the pet Wallyam a while ago when Buffy and Spike first arrived at the castle. But like I said in about 3 more chapters you will get to meet her and she will pop in and out as she plays an important role in the story:)

When even a nosebleed would activate Dawn opening a door to another dimension that would indeed be bad.
Not a good world for Buffy where she doesn't count as a woman. They truly have no clue what a slayer is.

These chapters were good but not very informative. Is Spike going through challenges now? I do appreciate the multiple chapters. I suppose you will explain what is going on. Please update soon.

Author's Response: It's about to pick up with a bit of explanation soon. The other stories I had originally had betaed, it was slower going but 10 chapters at a time were uploaded. This time its more frequent but less explanation due to less chapters being betaed at a time. By chapter 30 you will know most of what is going on with Spike. By 31, Buffy learns even more about what exactly Spike is going through and the lady is fully introduced. So be patient. Brittany is looking at 22-24 on Wednesday so 2 more uploads and all will be explained. But at that point it will still only be half way through *grins*

What's the matter with Buffy now? What are her issues with Spike now being in a room.
She was okay with him before. *confused*

Author's Response: Its a change to go from noone knowing to others seeing. In Sunnydale she was always all over him when they were in private but the minute someone such as Tara walked in, she would act all crazy. I think its just an adjustment. It will get better. I promise. You know me, spuffy all the way *grins*

Ah Buffy is thinking ahead with Fuzzball. Spike couldn't eat the blood (even if she can eat the meat) so it could be that Fuzzball will have trouble with eating human/earth-food. Or not.
~ I think I missed this chapter the first time around. Seeing the cliffhanger now I can only say - good that I did. :)

I am encouraging you to write. I am curious as to how Dawn is doing but more then that I like the small vacation they are having.

Author's Response: Dawn shows up in chapter 25. So it won't be Wednesday's update but perhaps Thursday if homework isn't too bad for Brittany. But if not Thursday then next week for sure. I have to say, Dawn isn't huge in the story until much later on. I hope that doesn't bother you.

I loved the growing cameraderie between Buffy and Spike as they struggled towards the village but I can't say I was surprised when she reverted to form when they reached 'civilisation' - I hope she reconsiders...
