Oooooh scary Joyce! I can just imagine the skittering and cowering... Lovely the way all the righteous fury went out of Joyce when she learned Buffy had lost her expiration date...
Now then, is she going to allow them to live together under her roof or do they have to get their own place?

I enjoyed this chapter very entertaining with the very scary mom Joyce with an axe and Spike skittering. Love the choice of word there very descriptive.

Author's Response: I happened to come across something I read about the way desert lizards 'skitter' and couldn't resist the urge to use it. Spike makes a great lizard though, don't he?

OMG, I LOVE your Joyce. The whole paragraph about "that nice Mr. Dalton" had me falling out of my chair. And skittering. Who doesn't love skittering Spike?

Author's Response: Yeh, Dalton won't be getting the shaft from me. I like him, so my characters will like him too. Except maybe Xander... Too much fear there still for any like.

Love how Spike goes from Dom!Spike to Sweet!Spike in a flash. However will our Buffy cope?
