But seeing the silent treatment Buffy gives Spike now it seems the plan wasn't that perfect at all.
But maybe Willow's story had helped to let Buffy understand about taking a chance.
Looking forward to more.

Nice - two chapters to catch up to.
Help comes from unexpected places - who had thought that Cordelia will help.
Not easy for Spike to loose his parents so quickly one after the other.
Ah not so good surprise for Buffy, seeing Spike unexpected but Cordelia's plan worked it seems. :)

wonderful read! Loved the end scene :)
I hope the all hush hush-mode will help Spike in the end with a bet situation... i mean.. if they are not in public then she'd understand that it wasn't just a bet after all... :)

Oh, I hope Spike comes clean soon! Buffy will be devastated if she finds out on her own. Maybe he could use it to their advantage and turn it around on Angel somehow??

Appreciated the back story of Spike , Angel, and of course-Dru.
Now Spike-no more acting with Buffy-having those real lovin' feelings. And waiting to see how Buffy acts the morning after. Will the hard exterior be gone and be quite apparent to others?

love the xander/cordy angles! ah tara - she's more in tune in with buffy and spike than any of the others. can't wait for more fireworks! and because it's buffy and spike the fireworks will definitely plant ... well, more fireworks of a different sort. looking forward to the battle of wills ...

(just re-watched 'kiss me, kate' - couldn't help but seeing that also in the spuffy realm)

Absolutely loved this chapter. The banter between them was spot on. The passion, Buffy's anger attempting to cover up her lusting for Spike, and Spike knowing just the right words to say. Loved it. Looking forward to more.

I loved reading it! Their banter is so funny and the plot itself is great!
Though i see some hearts breaking in the future... Xander being used by Cordy as a thing to focus Angel back on his girlfriend and Buffy finding out about scheemes and bets...
