Hooray! Illyria saved the day. Great battle scene too. and it's nice to see Spike fighting again. :)

Hooray for Illyria. It feels weird to picture her as some ugly demon with tentacles, I always thought she was beautiful (must be because Amy Acker is beautiful).
I like seeing Spike's confidence return, “Does that mean I can say I fought six slayers at one time and kicked their arses?” such a braggart

Author's Response: Illyria and tentacles is common in fic... and in the Ilyria comic, she looks more or less like I described her. but of course, all we know from the show is that she's a lovely blue girl. :)

Tried to review before but looks like it didn't post.
I just wanted to say how much I'm enjoying this story. I read it straight through the other night and was up until 3am. (LOL) Love the premise. I haven't read too many stories that really pursue what happened to everyone after the big battle in LA. The idea of Spike being tortured in some hell dimension and Buffy not recognizing him when he came back is great (Not that I'm glad poor Spike was tortured). Poor baby.) Probably one of the best and more unique post series fics I've read. Can't wait to read lots more, soon please. Keep up the awesome work.

Enjoyed this chapter. Loved Buffy and Spike's interaction. Both knew that there was something to discuss but also knew now wasn't the time. Liked Xander's manly acceptance of Spike being there.

Great scene with Buffy/Spike and her letting him have some of her blood. :) I like how thy're being toward each other...awkward and sweet.
I also really like how Xander and Spike interacted, seems Xan has grown up and can maybe have a friendship with Spike.
Nice shout out to AtS5 and what happened to Fred.

I stayed up until 3 am reading the story straight through. Couldnt put it down. Great job. I love the story line you came up with too explain where Spike's been since the battle in LA and the identity crisis. Probably one of the best post series fics I've read. Please post more soon.
