Some interesting information. What could the package be? A vampire/Slayer hybrid? They could have taken samples fromBuffy and Spike, then created a hybrid at their place in Germany. It could be almost anything else too, but I like to speculate.

I know I should just read and enjoy and I do, but at the end of a chapter I have a bad tendency to try and guess what is going to happen or answer questions that you have reveiled yet like are the people another branch of Initiative or with the Watchers or combined and did they do what they did to impregnate Buffy with Spike's seed after all the name hints it as well as the other clues. I'm bad and I'm impatient.

Fascinating. Sounds more like the Council than the Initiative.
Just one point. In about the 9th paragraph, I don't think 'foregone' means what you think it means. From the context, I think you mean 'too far gone'.
