Love the nightly cosy chats between Buffy & Spike. Such closeness without sex intruding is a very good basis for a solid relationship.
Really, Riley is so thick. And obsessed.
Now I'm left wondering whether Drusilla has been in town and has tripped the trap.

Alas, I've moved too far on to make that work -given that Spike would probably feel it if/when his sire dusted. I'm glad you like the phone convos. I do really want to give Buffy and Spike a chance to work their way into a relationship before they give in to lusty thoughts. :)

Good interaction between Giles and Spike. I like shen they have some sort of friendship. Riley can easily be written as a villain or like a good person and both can feel right depending on the story, this he has in common with Xander.

Oh, I do so love it when Giles sticks up for Spike! They make such a delicious team! I wish the writers had explored their dynamic more in S4 before they completely changed tack in S5 and made Giles turn against him.

I had to go back and read SNO to remember what had come before, but that was no hardship. :-)
I love it when Buffy accepts Spike and his feelings and isn't nasty and dismissive, causing Giles & the Scoobies to follow her lead. Can't wait to see what kind of trouble Riley makes for himself...
