Oh gods, poor Buffy. The weight of the world on her shoulders, and then some. I'm not sure how I feel about her decision not to tell Spike about the baby yet. She's a terrible liar, so he's bound to notice that something is wrong. He just won't know what is wrong, so he'll worry even more. *shakes head at Buffy, Queen of denial* Her decision is very in character though. Loved the scene between Wesley and Kate. You write a phenomenal Kate Lockley. You have her abrupt, masculine speech pattern down pat. I could just hear her voice in my head as I was reading this. Fantastic job! I can't wait to see what Wesley plans to do next in this quest to free Spike. Obviously he has to tell Buffy of the progress he made with Kate. I just hope they can get this confession before Buffy starts showing. Holy Cow! I just thought about this whole shakedown scenario in relation to Buffy's pregnancy. If Spike finds out that a) she kept the pregnancy from him for any length of time and b) she didn't tell him of her plans to risk her life (and now their baby's life) getting a confession from Angel, he will flip his lid. I wonder if he would ever be able to forgive her, even if it does all result in his release from prison. Damn, this girl is playing with FIRE. It had better pay off, or she will never be able to forgive herself. *sigh* I can't wait to see how you weave all these threads together, and whether they result in angst beyond comprehension or a happy ending. I'm just happy you've promised us spuffiness next chapter. Yay!!! Amazing, captivating chapter again Isabel!

I love this story and I can't wait for more. As for buffy's situation, its basically a damned if you do and a damned if you dont'. Poor spike and poor her but I trust there will be a good ending.

I always get so nervous everytime I read this story. I'm always terrified that THIS chapter will be the one that Buffy gets caught. I LOVE this story it's one of my favorites, but damn is it nerve racking! :P I have to skim through the whole chapter just to make sure that Buffy doesn't get caught. Could you maybe ease my fears and tell me if Buffy gets caught or not? Pweeeeeeeeeeeeeeease. *gives doe eyes* I'd very much appriecate it! And I could read your story with no more fear! See!
