I don't think they were too hard on Angel. I didn;t like the fact that Spike wanted to be all with Angel considering it was his fault that buffy died, kinda sucked in that area. Spike had plenty of chances to kill drucilla and the master, he did not have to bite that slayer

Don't know why you'd think anyone would be unhappy about that ending - it was GREAT! And you left enough open to have a sequel - A&C and S&B could go on to fight W&H together - the PTB could give both couples missions and I won't even go into the kink that the 4-some could go into cause that's not Spuffy enough for me. I LOVED the ending. I LOVE the whole story and look forward to reading more of your tales. Thank you so much for sharing your incredible writing ability and giving me hours of entertainment! I like the idea of Angel being Spike's sire. In School Hard Spike called him so, and then Joss changed his mind later on or something . *L* Anyways, you have created a very original past story with Darla making Angel thrall Spike.

Angel can just be so damned stupid. I know what it looked like, but wouldn't Spike have killed the girl if he'd really been evil? If the situation was reversed Spike would have known. Other than anger at the characters, great chapter and great story!

Excellent chappie although don't see why you seem to think Buffy couldn't take Angelus. She beat him loads of times in the show and it was only her feelings for Angel that saved him. She's gotta be stronger and faster now. Plus she's killed older vamps than Angel. Plus Angel killed his own sire and fought against the Master so why can't Buffy fight and kill family? Angelus is strong and evil but his arrogance makes him stupid.
