Sorry if I’m bothering you! Told you it’s hard for me to read Buffy/Wesley. But see? I’m still sticking with your story. Because you said again and again that this will be Spuffy, not Spike, Buffy (friendship). I know it’s more how it is in real life. But you know that I would never press you „Make it Spuffy! NOW!!!“ – you know that, right? I’m reading what you’re writing, in the pace you writing it.
So I don’t think you’re surprised that I enjoyed the chapter even more because when Spike and Buffy had a harmless fun, Wesley was fighting with Buffy and Buffy did leave pissed about what Wesley said. I did (enjoy it). :-D

It would seem extremely forced if they just picked up where they left off, with each of them having "lived" without each other for so long. It's nice that they're getting to know each other. And, dude who reviewed this chapter before me...why are you confused? Spike is making a commitment to stay in town and see things through, regardless of whether he gets the girl. He's tired of running both to and away. That's what the last paragraph means.

I can't stop feeling sad for Spike .... loving Buffy and seing her with Wesley. Even if he likes Wesley.... that makes it harder.. Cause it is hard to see the woman/man you love with another man/woman... Cordykitten
