Am I tripping? That sounded like Spike just killed Buffy's date before the date. Am I wrong? LOL! That's too funny! And poor Willow again. If the timeline is correct, she's still got some time before being noticed by a guy. Darn that Xander! I love the way Buffy and Spike are dealing with the way their feeling- total and complete denial! Yay! Keep it up! Juanita

Damn. Poor Tom. Spike didn't even bother to drain him, he was so pissed. I love how you have included the tension between Xander, Willow, and Buffy regarding Xander's crush on Buffy. I wonder what Spike will do to Xander when he finds out. Ouch. I'd love to see what, specifically, Spike is attracted to in the slayer. Granted, he's not admitting it to himself, but I'd be interested in his musings on Dru vs. Buffy. I can't wait to see Buffy's reaction when Tom is a 'no show'. Great story again, Ashlee and great chapter!

What I wondered :::Buffy realized her ‘spidey sense’ hadn’t been working lately:::: If you playing with that with a reason - more to read the next chapters. Loves the first meeting - the attraction both felt not knowing of another - I know, Spike knew, but he got distracted too :))

So what's new? Loved it. I was expecting it to play out like it did in School Hard, but glad it didn't. Also like the potential for a happy Willow/Xander thing, although I know they're not really the point of the story. I went all grinny when she left them alone to dance. Sappy me. Keep up the good work.

Very tantalizing beginning. Dru and Buffy figh, Dru's dust and Spike is now out for venegance. This should play out very interestingly. Good start!
