I love this story! I like the premise alot and I LOVE that he's helping her. I feel so bad for what she's been through...I'm not sure how angsty you plan on making this but I hope not too bad, the poor girl has been through so much already. Hank seems like an ass as always, so I'm sure that'll be an interesting twist. Can't wait for more.

Wonderful, amusing chapter again! I just love their easy, carefree banter. It already seems as if they've known each other for years. I'm kind of disappointed that she knows what time he showers, so there's less chance of accidental naked oogling. But, I still have hope! ;) Happy early Birthday, btw! I hope you have a smut-filled, er...I mean, fun-filled birthday! :)

I just adore how you had Spike come to the rescue. Admittedly, Buffy is a survivor. Afterall, she has gotten this far. But sometimes you just need that special someone who can help you finish the last leg of your journey. Sooooo very glad that Spike invited Buffy to stay at his place. Mmmmm, I imagine accidental naked oogling with pecs and abs of Spike. *sigh* *head desk* Why can't someone like Spike come in to my place of work and save me? Man, Buffy has all the luck. Great chapter again! I'm glad you decided to have Buffy fight against seeing her father. I knew she couldn't have been as comfortable with her responsibilities at Miss Kitty's as she was letting on. Wow. You shocked the hell out of me with this little disclosure on Hank. I wasn't expecting that at all. Only chapter 2 and you've already got me gasping in shock and surprise. Great job! I can't wait to see what Buffy's reaction is to Spike's admission. I wonder if Spike will tell Hank that is daughter is working at Miss Kitty's. Ooooh, it'd be so cool if Hank didn't care at all and Spike went into "save Buffy" mode (Superman cape not included of course). I just loved his reaction to hearing about why Buffy left Sunnydale - gripping the stearing wheel and wondering about the sanctity of marriage. I'd be interested in finding out if Buffy's mom knows of her choice of profession, and if she is still in contact with either her mom or her friends. I feel so sad for her, I hope she has friends somewhere. Thanks for the sweet mention! I just love this story so much that I can't help myself! Thank you so much for answering my questions. Read the first chapter, which I liked, and was curious as to the story's direction. After this second chapter with their conversation and the revelation about Hank, I'm hooked! I love it. I love the type of character you've written Spike to be - a decent man with morals and humanity and how Buffy is practical and a survivor. More soon!
