Thank god for Anya reading the manual. I hope Spike made Buffy understand now that it was not the book causing the feelings... And yeah - Buffy IS is stubborn one. I hope Spike will be able to keep Buffy - his wife :)) And I'm glad about the update too. TNX - even because of the late hour.

please keep it coming...........it's 3 am and I am reading and loving it. Buffy was never easy or particularly sane where Spike was concerned so I am along for the ride to wherever you lead no matter how long it takes.

"Apparently the romantic approach wasn't going to work with Buffy after all…" Can't say that Spike's plan going all haywire wasn't a surprise, but moments like that make you want to laugh and cry, at the same time. How we all just want it to work! And the bit about Dawn talking him out of the chains, love how that added to the continuity of the "real Buffyverse." Loved the chapter. And looking forward to the next update!

i love your work!! you're such a talented writer...so that's why it's so amazing that you can pull a story like this updating almost daily and why we can wait a lot also for the next update!! so thanx so much for dedicating your time to please us ;) anyhow about the story...love that you're not making things so simple for them cos...buffy is not a simple woman...actually quite stubborn and melodramatic...lol ;) terrific chapter!! poor spike ;) she should be the one groveling not him ;)

Oh my . . . poor Spike, all those wonderful plans up in smoke, er, down in slime. . . whatever. And Buffy is sooo damn stubborn, should be her picture next to that definition. But she needs to realize he does love her. . . and that its okay to love him back. . . . *sighs* Can I get a birthday chapter? Please????

Grrr, Buffy's always stupid when i comes to Spike, but really, this is even worse. At least Dawn knows what's good for the couple.

I love this story and I not that far into it. The play between buffy and spike you have so nailed it. Excellent job.

I just wanted to add.... I think you're going a great job, bc I think everyone else is being a little hard on Buffy, just like some were during season 6. I mean, granted, yes, we all know Spike loved her, but the fact of the matter is he WAS still soulless, and thus evil, to a certain degree, so Buffy is (and was) right to feel conflicted over it. I wish she had treated him a little nicer at times, yeah, but I still don't fault her for it. And this is coming from a hardcore Spike fan.... So I guess what I'm trying to say in this long-winded review is to keep doing what you're doing, because you're doing a great job and staying tru to the show. I have faith you'll make it all work out, though I don't mind the angst in between at all.
