"Anya crossed her arms over her chest. She really hated it when no one would listen to her."-- Sounds like Anya really knows something. I just love the way the romance novel personas just keep weaving their way into Buffy and Spike's awareness. Superbly well done. And them alone on an island, trapped in a romance novel. How wonderful. And boy oh boy... loving Buffy kicking Angelus' ass. Always a pleasure.

Love it! Wonderful chapter - I'm so glad you didn't let Angelus have his evil way with Buffy - nice that she was the heroine and saved Spike so he could turn around and save her - very mutual. Love the back & forth from real people to characters from the book they are in. Now, the two of them together on an island? I'm hoping Spuffiness will ensue. Thanks for sharing.

I am glad that they got away from Angelus. How will they get off the island. I am thinking that somehow they will not return to the Buffyverse without them encountering stupid Riley.

I cheered when she gave Angelus what for, but really laughed while he was talking. *laughs* Irish my arse. Oh! William! You saved me! *laughs* I kept waiting for a breathless Scarlet O'Hara -- and her, with the "are my breasts heaving?" And him being all distracted by that. . . and not afraid to admit it. Snuggling before a roaring fire -- can't get much better than that. When are the scoobies gonna learn to listen to demon-girl? She's got hundreds of years on all of them -- combined. Girl should KNOW something. Keep up the good work.

ROFLMAO!!! "...are my breasts actually heaving?" Oh my goddess, that has got to be the best line evah!!! I just about busted a gut laughing so hard. Thank you so much. That's the best laugh I've had in a long time. Buffy's repeated switch into Elizabeth's persona has me wondering what may happen between those two when they are half asleep and not in their "right" minds. Hmmmm... *snickers* Loving the turn of events! So glad that Buffy snapped out of her "Elizabeth" snivelling to knock Angelus out. Bravo Spike for gettting them to shore, as well. I can't wait to see how the island ups the UST, what with the sun, sand, surf, and... lack of clothing. *giggles* Great chapter!
