I'm loving this story. This chapter and the last are brilliant... my favorite Spuffy stories are ones where Spike never coddles Buffy, and where she doesn't turn into a spineless wimp toward him. Nice job!

just wanted to say say "thanks" - one more grateful Spuffy fan - I loved your story and how you balanced your vision with the series - have to feel sorry for Angel not having Connor, but with all the tragedy from that event, Kelley seemed like a very good alternative.

Like the story but Buffy should be dead. I can understand why he would hire a demon with poison the first time... but the second time? He didn't want to get to close? Use a crossbow and if the first time doesn't work just repeat.. or hell use a gun. The whole poison thing was a really weak excuse. Hell she was chained up... just bring in a couple of demons to kill her if he doesn't want the whole thing to point back at him.
