My favorite chapter so far. So cleverly written. The parallel between Elsa's experience and what Buffy's about to do was perfect. I adore Elsa, Clem and Tosh. They are sweet, adorable, the perfect friends. They're so good to Spike and Buffy. Your writing never stops impressing me.

As much as the whole scene broke my heart and I wanted to yell at both of them for being so stubborn and idiotic, it is sooo in character it's almost scary. Fantastic job, luv. I'm sad the story is almost over.

Love the use of the dialogue from Dead things. The 'do you trust me' part. It fit perfectly well in the chapter. Sorry I didn't review this story for a while. I didn't even know I was behind. I didn't know you updated it.

Wonderful story! I wanted to review earlier, but I was so engrossed, I couldn't stop reading. I really like the way you meshed the endings of both BtVS and Angel. Most of all, I loved how you pull the reader in right from the first chap. LOVE the touch of Spike having sent Buffy the photo and Mr Gordo. I was dabbing at a tear or two! You're a lovely writer--can't wait to read your other stories. Best, greenlady

Beautifully divided and explained. Clem and his wife are just wonderful. But I'm siding with Clem. While he's in LA 'finding himself' he could come back to dead friends and love. It would be just so worth it, wouldn't it, Spike? This is a fantastic fic. Looking forward to the next installment.

Yeah heartbreaking and bittersweet. These two coulnd't decide what they wanted - or do one thing after another together. And Buffy feels again as if everyone is leaving her. Well, Spike is leaving. But Buffy didn't go with him. Sacred duty, yeah. And if Spike comes back the wall around Buffy will be higher than before. I hope he can go through it, the wall.

Heartbreaking but totally in character. Ic an really see how miserable this further rejection would be to her. Keep it up. I still love this story.
