Loved the update :) Buffy not wanting to live when her 'boys' are dying. Dawn coming there in time. So she had to break out? She's bleeding.. I hope that won't disturb the spell. *phew* No, it worked :)
Spike and demon aren't reacting?
Mmmmm just wildly guessing but maybe William has to go back where he came from, back into Spike so to say. I hope there is an easy solution / that they'll find the solution of the problem soon. :)

thanks. I mainly just read spike/buffy stories.I just like spike better with just some william in him. And if I do read william/buffy then there is no spike. or he turns to spike like changing his clothes and hair.

but i might give it a try. since it seems like it is going to be spike at the end. I hope.

Author's Response: Hi, well, it started out as Buffy/Spike, but William arrived on the scene and the Demon who made Spike and now there are all three of them and Buffy! How she manages to get Spike back is going to be the thing.

Just caught up with this all the way from chapter 18. This has been the most engaging, passionate, deeply moving story I've read in a long time. The breakdown of Spike and how each part of him affects Buffy is fascinating and how you've left it with Willow emerging with her power kick is just fascinating. I can't wait for you to return so you can update this fic.

Love that the family ties extend to Dawn, but I have to say Willow and Xander seem to be taking quite a risk with their friend to just leave her there while three beings inside of her risk death. Have they not considered the possibility she wouldn't survive either? I have confidence that Dawn is smart enough to get around those scoobies. Looking forward to more.

Oh evil! Willow and Xander try to keep Dawn from getting to Buffy. Good that she is suspicious / hearing that voice and believing it.
