Yeah-- an update! I've really been enjoying this story. I love Spike's insecurity, Buffy's inablity to be honest with herself, and Angel's jealousy. I loved the mental picture from the last chapter of Giles and Spike playing "Crash Bandicoot". Honestly, I think the only rational character in this saga is Cordelia! *sigh* I miss my show!

Loved this chapter update. Cordy telling them that this was ordained and sanctioned by the PTB is a big help for Buffy and Spike. Those two not running away from each other right now is a big thing too. I really hope that they keep moving in the right direction. Kick the Immortal out on his ass ... OOhhh updatey goodness!! Really nice update. Nice Spuffy interaction, nice moment there with Cordy and Buffy. Oh! And Giles, all with the askfing for forgiveness -- bout bloody time. And Willow -- isn't she on the bandwagon now. Wonder what's gonna happen with the two blondes now that they are all alone. . .

That was yet another absolutely wonderful chapter! Describing Spike as un-undead... love that too. And I do appreciate a bit of my uncertainty about Cordy coming back being cleared up. And poor Spike so resigned to his unlovability... just about made me cry. Update soon, but I promise you no matter how long it takes it's well worth the wait.

All I can say is I LOVE this story and your writing. I don't know what stuff people have been saying, but the story line is great, the build up shows so much, and I can see it happening just as you write it, it leaves me with a perfect picture. I used to love Angel, ( before Spike ) but what you demonstrate in this story is what I have always felt after the appearance of Spike, how he loved without a soul, and always gave, and that Angel didn't know what Buffy really needed it. What I think you really have here is the terrific making of a movie showing what happens, if we could only get Joss to see this and get working on it. Anyway, PLEASE keep writing, I am waiting with bated breath for more chapters. thanks

WOW that was intense. Loved the whole "potion" incident that cracked me up. Spike telling Giles he did not want him to fly all the way there to "have goo pour on his hand"...Spike and Buffy and the hyperion. I am wishing Cordi would of like blown angel up or something. that would of been GREAT!!!!!. I hope he blows this last chance and gets sent into dust for good. He doesn't even deserve the this chance. Asshole that he is. Ok Yeah you are a total meanie head for that bit of a cliffhanger. Naughty girl, I will just have to get Mona after you *laughs*. Excellent job on this chapter, NOW go write more.

Yes, very mean place to leave it. {Chuckles} Excellent chapter update though. I can just picture Giles doing the goo check to prove taht Willow's potion worked. LOL. I wonder what would happen if they put the goo on Buffy? Would it turn the same murky grey? Hmmmm ... just a little thought. I loved her declaration. Sometimes the best way to get Buffy to admit anything is to get her to a point where it blurts out. Touching scene with Angel and Cordy. {Smiles} Look forward to the next update.

I loved the chapter. You had a bit of Spuffiness in there - I like any spuffy, from a simple thougth to a full on sex-fest! It's all good for me. I loved the bit with Spike and Giles playing video games when Buff & Wills got back from shopping. I'm also glad Cordy gets to stay this time, but wondering if that is a good thing or a double edged sword (I'll guess you'll tell us as the story progresses). I just hope none of the "tests" on Spike go all wonky and end up causing more troubles for our blonde duo. Thanks for sharing, your story, your way and I'm sure I'll love it. More please.

Well, I really loved how you treated Spike and Buffy. The way that they act like they're ina relationship but insist that they aren't... and then each wonder silently why it feels like they're in a relationship... Quite brilliant. Though I wonder what Spike is... Right now, I'm not sure if Cordelia is sounding evil or not. Release him from his curse... are taling about setting his soul loose or about letting him very happily screw his brains out? And the fact that I can't tell makes me love this all the more. Predictability makes everything so boring. Update soon!

Good plot points for these characters that were involved in the chapter. Storylines need to be moved around. I can understand that not every chapter will be Spuffy happy. Always glad to see it though. Frustrating when it is Angsty, but this wasn't angsty either. You gave us tidbits of hope with the handholding and peace with Giles. I liked the Angel/Cordy plot as well. I just hope that isn't some trick. Angel making with the happy if the curse is still in place is not a good thing. Look forward to the next update.

I'm sorry to hear that you are having to deal with stupid reviews/reviewers. As I think you said in a previous author's note there are plenty of stories out their where Spike and Buffy get together 5 minutes after they meet. I don't bother reading those stories; and I'm glad this isn't one of them! I 've really been enjoying this story and the way you are developing the various characters. In this chapter i found Spike remembering not only Buffy's favorite donut but Willow's as well poignant and very much in character. I also snickered at the thought of Giles and Spike playing X-box! Hee! Finally I'm enjying the Angel/ Cordelia/ Connor storyline; and look forward to seeing how you resolve that one. Looking eagery forward to more!
