Well hopefully Buffy's little drinking marathon will serve 2 purposes - when your drunk (unless you are mean drunk) you are usually pretty truthful (and Buffy said she missed Spike so I'm hoping he'll realize just how much she really cares) and second, seeing how Buffy stumbles and overcompensates and flirts and basically acts like a drunk will show Spike how he appears to others when he's under the influence. Well, that's my hope, but I have a feeling you're not quite done with the angst of this tale yet, so more likely Buffy's gonna do something stupid, Spike's gonna help her and the then Buffy will be all pissed again and Spike all contrite again.... oh will it never end? As long as you are writing - I'm reading, angst or Spuffy, I don't care, just keep it coming. Awesome chapter, awesome tale. Thanks for sharing.
