Herion..thats the worse not that the other drugs out there are good but herion. I would have got the f**k out of there too then got an AIDS test. I'm curious where he shoots up. She's seen him naked so I'm thinking in his penis. Well, I guess this is the end of this fiction cause I would hate to see her get back with him after that...unless he turns her into a junkie too. It is the only way the relationship is going to work sort of speak..can't beat them join them. I hate to say it but it happens all the time..SAD

I knew you were going to give us a twist and work some angst into the situation, but I had been hoping it wouldn't be drugs. The moment I read that Spike looked at Buffy with unfocused eyes, my heart broke. While I love all of your fictions, this subject just hits a little too close to home. I will try to keep reading this story, but if you see that my reviews have stopped, don't be surprised. It won't be that the story isn't any good, as it is incredible as always, it will just be that I can't deal with the subject matter. With that said, I'm glad that Buffy left and told him that she won't get closer to him just to watch him kill himself. I really hope that she is able to back up her words with actions.

Loved it....your Buffy rocks in that she is standing her ground. Heroin is not something to toy with....it's been the death of many talented, beautiful people, not all from the rich and famous. I would imagine he has not been doing it for too long for the need marks would be very noticeable......and his feet would be one mess if he was doing it between his toes or other hidden places....where does Spike shoot up that Buffy didn't see his track marks before now?

Kind of a bitchy ultimatum especially considering exactly what he is (rock star), but you did write this well. Drug fics are almost like baby fics to me. If they're good, they're really good. But most of them tend to sway way too far in one direction or the other, becoming unlrealistic. I really love your work and I have faith that you will continue to write this to be believable. Can't wait for the next chapter.

Maybe the drugs are one cause of the bad memory Spike has. Heroine, and Spike do it not so often? That can only be a lie. *sigh* Past tense, yeah. That's too sad... Glad that Cordy tried to make Spike understand what Buffy was thinking (because he really had no clue) Well, if that didn't go through him - the thought of Buffy in danger did. Your Buffy is fantastic! I love her sense of self and common sense in that she is not going to let herself be fooled by Spike, his pretty word or her hormons and emotions. I love that she is strong enough to respect herself and demand only the best from Spike. This was a great twist after the sweetness of the last couple of scene...adds great depth to the piece.
