Awesome chapter. I love that Buffy stood up to Xander. go her. I think she should have cuddled with Spike in bed though. it would have been cute. Can't wait for more.
Author's Response: I actually went back and forth a lot about whether to have her ask him to sleep with her or not. I'm still trying to decide if I'm going to have Dawn and Buffy crawl in with Spike in the beginning of the next chapter. That would seem to fit since he's in their mom's room, and they both care about him and need him for support. We'll see. It all depend on if I can word it in a way that things don't seem too rushed. We'll definitely get to the smutty parts later, but I want it to be believable.
