That was absolutely divine! Tearing up at the heartfelt parts, because it's so true... Where else would he go? To laughing when poor bloody Spike and delusional Spike are both shocked silent. And so thrilled to think that those two... soul mates before the soul... would be so very connected when it really mattered, but more importantly, when it didn't. Fluff, that isn't at all fluffy. Fabulous.

I like it! I've had this bookmarked for a while, for that almost non-existent thing called 'spare time'. Glad I did finally had a chance to read it. Loved Buffy's inner Spike voice. Every syllable it uttered was dead on in character.

Haven't read "Journeys" yet. ... but this was wonderful. First I thought (in the middle of the text) awe poor Buffy, you only have his voice in your mind - and is that enough or will you be lonely... But than - the voice bringing her back to LA, to Spike - that was just wonderful

Lovely...was wondering where you'd run off to after the end of P&W...looking most forward to your next project (whatever it turns out to be and whenever it might appear). I love the ending; it's perfect for the stream of consciousness Buffy POV in this story. Perfect Buffy Voice. I can see her using Spike' as her inner voice. He never let her get away with fooling herself; no so surprising she'd adopt his voice in her head.
