aww poor 17 year old buffy in love with spike who seems to be still in love with a long dead slayer. he must feel a little attraction now, if he had to remind himself not to look at her, when she mentioned boobs haha. *sigh* can't wait for the next chappie

This is an interesting premise, and as always, your writing and plotting is wonderfully done, but... Well, i have to say, I'm a bit uncomfortable with the possibility of a romantic relationship between Buffy and Spike here. And being that it's a Spuffy site and the rating of the story is NC17, i'm pretty sure that's where you are going :) Just as on Angel, the idea of Cordelia and Connor skeeved me, i feel the same here. Spike is like family, like an Uncle, like a father, possibly, been there her ENTIRE life, it's just... It's a bit incestuous, despite the lack of blood relations. I know, i know, i can just not read this and hey, you are generous enough to always having more than one WIP posted here for all of us to enjoy, so i will have my Ashlee-fix, but... I just felt that i should share this opinion. Not a flame, understand, just an opinion.

Author's Response: Don't worry, I don't consider it a flame and I am well aware that the relationship is a little weird. There will definitely be moments that might seem a little strange, but ultimately, and hopefully, it will be realized that they are friends first, before anything else. I knew this would be too weird for some, but I am a fan of stories like 'Sweet Surrender' (step-siblings) and 'Older' (step-father) but I realize not everyone would care for this type of fic. Thank you for the opinion and the non-objective way you stated it. And for the record, Connor and Cordelia skeeved me, as well LOL! But that was also because I am a Cordy/Angel shipper.
