another fabualous chapter. i liked the Angel/Spike confrontation - it was very mature and i loved how spike was honest in his answers to Angel. loved the ending too.

I liked how you handled the bit between Angel and Spike (everyone knows I hate Angel, but I agree with you about a father acting totally different than a lover - you wrote it perfectly!). I still hoping those two crazy kids get horizontal and loving real soon. more please.

Kind of hoping for a bit of happy sometime in this milennium between these two and to stay happy. {half chuckles} You write very well. It is just hard to read at times with all the downers. We almost get there and it is ripped away from us again. {shrugs} Guess I just have to keep reading and hoping. Look forward to the next update.

Loved the Angel, Buffy and then the Angel, Spike interaction. Buffy, well I hope she grows to realize once what she might be throwing away becasue she can't see 2 feet in front of her.........Can't she remember, if so, how Lucy treated Spike badly, that he may have loved the other slayer, but she didn't love him. I hope she opens her eyes soon, or maybe this once Spike needs to say, "Okay, if this is what you want, really what you want I will leave you alone." and do it. If she stops him then she's grown up and ready to have a relationship, meaningful....and if not.......then it's time for him to go.....she like him is immortal.....when she matures a bit maybe then they will have something......don't listen to me, LOL if you had this story would not have been such a wild angsty wonderful piece of work........

Awe... so sad that Buffy will go away, leaving Spike (and the rest of her family). Both love each other, but they don't know it from the other. So bittersweet. I hope they'll make up again. Angel could have said something, but he didn't.... Well, anyway, I'm looking forward to read on. I hope they'll make up again.

i think the angel/spike confrontation was very good. pretty much what i'd expect from a father who doesn't like the situation but wants whatever makes his daughter happy. even if it is someone who he dislikes, but at least trusts his daughter's life with. you'd think buffy would get tired of running away.. she's always just picking up and leaving and not really resolving anything. spike is just as stubborn as she is.. she's never going to be rid of him. great stuff, and keep it coming!

Disappointed? Hardly. The conversation between Angel and Buffy was much more supportive than I expected, but it was in character. I liked that Angel kept Buffy's admission from Spike, that was also in character. How Buffy and Spike keep misreading each other's emotions is beyond me, but it's keeping the tension high and the story humming.
