Nice little set up you created for the two of them. I wish the real show Buffy would have done the whole - sitting down on the beach and think for a second - thing at least once. I hope the next chapter is going to prove how much she will benefit from doing that. Thanks for updating!

Could this be council business. This sounds like their sleazy style, and though it's a bit ominous, I like the fact I finally know what those two are up to if not who they may be working for. Yikes! a bit of trouble in paradise (well of course Buffy can't ever have a real vacation with no violence). You're welcome! I thought I had enough time to read this one before the update. I failed... but now I have 2 chapters to read! ;-) *gg+ So Buffy made Spike sing to gain forgiveness? Hehe.. what a revenge - IF Spike makes a fool out of himself ;-) But she has to sing too? I wonder if you choose a duet for them like O.N-J. and J.T.. Hmmm, it's getting a bit cryptic, but I really liked Spike getting all possesive about Buffy. Great work!

Author's Response: You mean that as a good thing, right? I hope so. Cryptic was my goal. But don't worry, the angst in this fic will be kept at a minimum at all time :) It's supposed to be sweet and romantic. Some bickering, some bad guys, but nothing over the top, promise. Thanks for your review

I love the Ben/Carlita twist that's been thrown into this- it makes me wonder exactly what their plans are. I enjoyed Spike stepping in when Buffy was talking to Ben, and his reaction when she 'bolted' from him was perfect:) Great update!

That was fabulous, and though I wonder what the Italian transvestite is up to, I think Spike singing to Buffy is fantatsic, and so sexy, and I kinda wanted to kiss him for her though the computer, but that would have been a bit wierd. Great chapter, cant wait for the next on, and the inevitable trip up to the volcano, cause Spike so rocked that performance. Please, update soon!

I think you did post this before, cause I remember reading it, liking it, and commenting on how much I enjoyed the part where she spoke of Angel enjoying self-flagellation. I know the site crashed and lost some files, maybe chapter 5 went with them? Still good the second time around... or if not, I'm losing my mind, too! Which may be possible regardless...
