WTF why did she push him away and get all emotional over it, also she slapped wat the hell she responded to the kiss, she didnt need to slap him. i really want them to get together i think that the belong together and that buffy should get over wat ever shes still holding on to and give spike antoher chance. i love this story and am so happy that u updated. i really hope that they work throught this and get together and dawn and them become a family that would be so sweet. please update as soon as u cam, i cant wait to read tha next chapter and see wat happens between buffy and spike next thanx

Author's Response: Buffy's a bit confused (what's new eh?) and she never 'gets' that all's she has to do is ask Spike to change for her. A little anyway. Spike is Buffy idea of an ideal, but the problem is that she doesn't like what he does. Angel is a meal ticket for Buffy, kind of, not much more. She knows that Angel is what he is and will never attain any higher calling in life. Spike isn't just a street hood, he's better then that and Buffy knows it. I'm trying to convey in the story that although Buffy loves Spike, to see him not live up to his potential breaks her heart. I wonder, will Spike finally realize his own potential and what Buffy sees in him? How does the little orphan fit in? Spoiler: Dawn is an orphan at this point and I'll explain that, probably in the next chapter. Thank you fro reading and reviewing. spuf
