I think the reason some of us are so impatient is that we get EXACTLY your point about this. I, for one, remember clearly what 17 was like and I also know all the stupid things that fear, pride and lust can make you do before you start thinking about your choices with a little bit of background. I've never thought any of this is heartwrenching. I just hope they don't do anything that will wreck their relationship. You have created an amazing relationship between these two and you've done such a good job with all their human qualities, both good and bad. What I wouldn't give to go live in this world for a little while.
