Wow, that was some chapter. I almost got teary myself, but I'm used to holding it back. This an amazing story so far and I can't wait to see what else you do.

Author's Response: Thank you. I tend to write what I know or have seen. Buffy's character is based on two real people I know of. Her plot line is secondary, however, since this is mostly from Spike's POV. He's a lost soul himself because he's never really allowed himself to feel like a human should be able to. Everything for Spike, so far, has been mechanical, even though he's a brilliant heart surgeon. All of his magic and special powers as a surgeon cannot save Buffy's special little angels. All of the love Buffy's gives to the babies is very noble, but is she able to love a man and move on with her life? It's not going to be too long, I promise, and there will be more angst, Spuffy, mostly. Thank you, spuf

Well honey its as korny as Kansas but,hey, who cares right? I like the start, lets hope she has a sense of humor and we dont rot our teeth everytime you update. That being said bravo I will keep with this one and see where it takes us:)

Author's Response: I'm cracking up at this review! I love it! Please do keep up with this story. That chapter is about as corny as it's going to get. The Saint Buffy plot is just a background story for the Spuffy. Truthfully, Buffy's character is based on two people I know of, but it's just a way to hook in readers. Buffy will have a sense of humor, but she's still a bit 'out there' about being hurt by Riley. Spike isn't going to be a saint, though, he's going to be aggressive in his courting of Buffy. Author's Response: Thank you! Tara is one bright woman and she loves Spike as a friend. She also loves Buffy as a friend so don't worry, Tara will protect her. Author's Response: Thank you. There will be lots of angst in this one. However, it's only some Spuffy angst. I'm going to give you a spoiler, hope it's okay: Buffy is a volunteer at the hospital. I'll give you more background for her in next 2 chapters. I will reveal what kind of volunteer she is however. Buffy is Willow and Tara's friend too, although it was Riley that first introduced her to the hospital where he interned as a paramedic. Buffy stumbled onto the 'other' baby nursery. (this is where most of the angst will come in so I'm kind of warning readers) Buffy goes to the hospital three times a week to 'hold and nurture' the sick babies that seemed to have been forgotten. I'll explain that later, too. Anyway, thanks for reading and reviewing. spuf
