First off, you had me laughing about the dog taking a powder break in the last chapter. So cute. I love how Spike gave her a dog and she named it after him. If I know Spike, I'm thinking him running away from the claim isn't because he doesn't want it. I'm thinking he doesn't think it is for Buffy's benefit, or that she only loves the William part of him. Well, I'm interested to find out if I'm right.

Yay I get to review this chapter first! Loved it. I think it was great how you got him to progress from William to Spike plus cool claiming session. And I don't think Spike was a jerk for doing that in the end. It makes sense to me. Can't wait for the next chapter!

i totally can see william as a clumsy teenager... but he he always had a natural senuality that he just get to explore in his spike days...
and so, the annoying menace is back... i hope he won't be so scared to be rejected by buffy to behave like the jerk he can be... and of course i hope she won't be so scared to accept him...
