Despite quite a number of grammar/spelling errors and typos, this is a well-written story. Though I have to say Spike turned his hatred of Buffy into love so quickly it was a bit unbelievable. I think Buffy would have had to do quite few more selfless things for Spike to trust her enough to fall in love with him. And while I get the appeal of Spike-Slayer and Buffy-Vampire, in this case, when vamp falls for Slayer, it's the stereotypical mooning girl, pining for the hot, desirable guy, instead of how it was on the show, with charming role reversal of the badass hot guy totally gone over the sweet, strong heroine. Like the dialogue; each character sounded like him/herself.

Well Sotia and Cordykitten are very wise, as this story just beggs for a sequel. Yes, I know you're altready writing it, just wanted to stress that point.

It's a great fic, with an interesting take on things and I've always loved Spike as the Slayer... and Vamp Buffy (except for a couple of fics that shall not be mentioned).

Loved it (well... the angst not that much, but hey... maybe just maybe the sequel will be lighter?)

I'm uber-excited that you made good on your promise to read! :) The idea of the story actually came from a very intriguing dream I had and after a long chat with a good friend from the Realm, I was convinced to write and post it. I was shocked, to say the least, that it received such high marks!
I am hard at work on the sequel, just so you know. While I have promised the requested "happy ending" for our lovely blonde couple, I will tell you like I told Sotia.....I never promised to make the road wouldn't be filled with potholes and speedbumps up to the fairytale ending.
