I'm really liking this story. The more I read the more I want to know. I'm really curious about Spike going to Angel too. Hmm... and I'm glad Dawn's ok.

In the last two days, I did nothing of my nights but read this brilliant piece of fiction. At first I thought it was completed, because, 63 chapters is simply so long and you'd expect the author to run out of plot.

Yet yours isn't achieved yet, and I love you for it, yet I hate to have to wait for more.

The plot so far is amazing, addictingly so. The whole "and how will -that- turn out" question as the reading goes along, the very way feelings are expressed... You ought to know this is probably one of the best fics I've ever read.

To be quite honest, my favorite things of all good things in here is the relationship between Spike and Dawn. For some reason, it's always the detail that will make me adore a story. Yours is strong. I love it. The way Spike cares for the small sister, the way she can see through him- from the beginning. I mean, okay he loves Buffy, more than he likes the sister. But I enjoy the SpikeDawn friendship more, I'm guilty to say.

Perhaps because Buffy behaves like a righteous bitch at times.

I'm also glad to see Spike turning to Angel. I don't particularly like Angel... but it seems so very promising, you know? What can the poufster do about it all?

Hm. I think I'm running out of babbling, sorry to say. I'd go on with my shallow and unoriginal feelings, but chances are, you might not want to hear it. I have no word of advice either- heck, if I knew how to improve such a breathtaking piece, I'd be a grand author, wouldn't I?

Nothing but praise for you, really. I hope to see more coming soon-- take all the time you need to make it as delightful. I, however, wish it doesn't take that long. How selfish of me, huh? xD

Keep up the great work! (I do wonder how much left there is... mind indulging in my curiosity?)

Wow, I came across this story at Elysian Fields and read all that was posted there. Seeing that it hadn't been updated since Feb, I hoped that you were updated somewhere else and fortunately, you were.

This story is so good and I can tell that its going to be a while yet before its over, but its really amazing so far.

Didn't see it this way but it's right: Giles could have stopped it. Too late now. Things were done.
~ And now I'm sad to see that Dawn saw it coming. Spike's try to help has blown in his face.

Ugh, heart wrenching. So good. This story never fails to dissapoint. I love it.

This is just so painful. I don't even have the words to tell you how caught up in the story I am. I've been following it for years now, I think, and I remember it all with startling clarity.

Spike's emotional turmoil manifesting as a violent rage was in character and vividly written. It was hard to read Buffy's indifference, and Spike's crushed reaction was awful. This was a great line: "Physically, he’d been through worse. Emotionally…well…it was the emotional part that made forgetting the physical part absurdly easy."

Poor, broken vampire. What do you think Angel can do for you? I can't wait to find out.

The fall-out is horrendous. Expected, but nevertheless horrendous. You capture the pain that Buffy feels, that Spike, in his desperate helplessness, feels - and at the last, when he goes to Angel for sanctuary, help, anything - inspired.

Your story never wavers. Bravo.

OMG I CANT BELIEVE THAT SHE JUST LEFT HIM AND THAT HE WENT TO ANGEL!! i LOVE this story and am so happy that u updated. i feel so bad for spike and i really hope that buffy listens to dawn about spike. also i hope that everything works out well and that they end up together.
